Wow! It's a Freaking Miracle! Permanent Nerve Damage, My Butt!

I'm post Effexor for 2 weeks now. I've added some more vitamins to the list but the one that seems to be the kick in the pants is Magesium Choride with Calcium (brand name: Slow-Mag). Also added Vits - D, E and C; Fish Oil, Garlic Oil, and Green Tea Extract. I was taking E and C in the past but just kind of got away from it.

For the past two nights I've been completely symptom free. No tingling, no burning, no jabs and no muscle twitching - clenching thing related to RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) type stuff. I started taking the Magnesium the day before my first pain free night. Could that be it? That's the right time frame to see relief for the twitching portion. Could it be a result of finally being off the Effexor? Or maybe both?

No one seems to have a definitive answer for me. But whatever I'm doing it appears to be working so I'll keep doing it.

The past two days has been like I never had PN at all...ever. Incredible!

The Neuro I saw said I had permanent nerve damage. That was what he read from the nerve conduction study he did on both feet. I'm beginning to believe that for many cases of PN there is no such thing as permanent, irreversible, damage. B-12 has been shown to reverse damage and regenerate nerves. I can see the proof of that in my own feet. And it's not been a long haul waiting for results. About 3 months, total, since I began taking the B-vitamins by themselves.

It's a miracle. Anyone that is suffering or has suffered with the pain of PN knows what I'm talking about.
