Interstellar greetings

A common misconception is the plaques riding on the interstellar Voyager spacecraft. Actually, The reference image of this page represents the plague of Pioneer 11. Each of the Voyager twins carry a gold audio record with imagery engraved on their outward-facing surface. This image of the actual record, courtesy of NASA, could compensate anyone who might seek information about "plaques" on Voyager I or Voyager II.
Would some knowledgeable Star Trek fan please illuminate the placement of "Voyager" on the record? According to "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", there is a badly deteriorated plaque with only "V...ger" still legible of the Voyager 6 name. With Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 being identical craft, it is hard to imagine the fictional Voyager 6 would be differently designed.
As for the plaque speeding far from the sun on Pioneer 11, a meaningless collection of dots might reflect in the faint light of interstellar space. What will be seen on our interstellar envoy?

To see the image as intended : look at the image with a light-colored background. The plaque from our archive will render nicely by the HTML snippet above. The actual plaque has a gold face; that fact motivated the choice of background color for our demonstration.
